Repairs to the façade of a house in Guia.

Complete Façade Renovation and Replacement of Window Frames in a Historic Building in Guia. We carried out a comprehensive renovation of the façade of a historic building, including the replacement of doors and windows.

The project presented a significant challenge during the replacement of the window frames, due to the thickness of the walls (70cm) and the structural instability, which caused the walls above the openings to partially collapse.

To overcome this obstacle, we have implemented the following solutions:

• Structural reinforcement: Construction of new support beams to guarantee the stability of the walls.
• Cladding and finishing: Complete plastering of the walls, application of façade putty with fibre mesh for greater durability and painting with sand paint and acrylic paint for an aesthetic and resistant finish.
• Intervention Area: The total area of the renovated façade was approximately 160m².
• Materials used: High-quality sand, cement, putties and paints specifically for façades.

This project demonstrates our ability to handle complex renovations in historic buildings, combining traditional techniques with modern materials to guarantee long-lasting, high-quality results.
